There’s nothing quite like the fall in New England. That crisp autumn air, the fiery hue of the falling leaves, and, of course, the apple-picking. Although Pakeen Farm’s fall harvest won’t include apple-picking this year—its recently planted apple orchard isn’t quite ready for harvest—you’ll find a delicious assortment of apples sourced from other local farms at its market.

The apples aren’t just sold by the bag and the bushel. They’re also incorporated into some of your favorite fall treats! Grab a cup of hot apple cider and let it warm your fingers while you meander around the picturesque farm, checking out the budding apple orchard and greeting a barnyard animal or two along the way. Pair your cider with a freshly baked apple cider doughnut or pick up an apple pie from a local baker to take home to your apartment in Quincy. And, of course, don’t forget to visit the pumpkin patch! It’s officially open for the fall season, and it has the perfect canvas for your 2021 jack-o-lantern. The farm is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays all autumn long.
